Alliance Mount joined the Swiss–Viet Economic Forum in Hanoi to broaden its relationships across the Swiss–Vietnamese business community. With its roots in Switzerland and its work with Vietnamese enterprises, the firm brought a practical interest to the event: finding the people, expertise and resources that can help businesses take their next step internationally.

A meeting point for Swiss and Vietnamese business

Held from 18 to 20 October 2026, the Swiss–Viet Economic Forum Hanoi brought together representatives from government, business, finance and academia under the theme “From Bilateral Strength to Regional Impact.” The programme focused on how closer relations between Switzerland and Vietnam could translate into business opportunities and sustained cooperation.

The main forum day, held on 19 October at Meliá Hanoi, covered investment, industrial transformation, supply chains, energy, innovation, healthcare and talent development. Alongside the formal sessions, delegates had opportunities to meet, compare perspectives and establish contacts across sectors.

SVEF Hanoi 2026 brought together the Swiss–Vietnamese business community and international organisations for policy discussions and business networking.

For Alliance Mount, the forum provided an opportunity to develop relationships relevant to its advisory work. A company seeking international growth may need an investor, a commercial partner or specialist expertise—and often a combination of all three. Meeting organisations with different capabilities helps the firm understand where those needs and resources might align.

Swiss roots, with a focus on Vietnamese enterprise

Switzerland holds a particular place in Alliance Mount’s identity. Its Swiss roots, representative presence in Geneva and founding team’s international experience underpin its work connecting Vietnamese enterprises with overseas investors and business partners.

That background informs an approach built on transparency, trust and continuity. Cross-border relationships require both parties to understand how the other operates, what they expect and what they are prepared to commit. Clear information and careful preparation matter well before a transaction takes shape.

Alliance Mount works with businesses and investors across fundraising, M&A, market development and post-transaction support. Its role involves helping Vietnamese companies prepare for international engagement, while giving overseas partners a clearer understanding of local businesses and market conditions.

Participation in SVEF Hanoi continued that work, strengthening the firm’s links with the Swiss community in Vietnam and introducing further contacts across the wider business network.

Connecting with the innovation community

During the event, Alliance Mount met representatives from the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program (SwissEP), Dat Bike and the Embassy of Switzerland in Vietnam. These meetings brought together perspectives from entrepreneurship support, technology, investment advisory and bilateral cooperation.

For Alliance Mount, relationships within the innovation community offer insight into the challenges facing growing businesses. Technology companies need customers, talent and the resources to develop their products. Investors need to understand commercial potential, execution capacity and the people behind the business. Familiarity with both sides helps an adviser assess where a connection may be worthwhile.

The forum’s technology discussions also provided context for those conversations. Access to capital is one part of a company’s growth prospects; the ability to adopt technology, develop skills and bring products to market is equally relevant to its longer-term development.

Further connections with InnoLab and Roche

Alliance Mount also met representatives from InnoLab Asia and Roche Pharma Vietnam, together with SwissEP. The meeting broadened the firm’s contacts across innovation and healthcare, two fields in which specialist knowledge and international experience can be particularly valuable.

InnoLab Asia supports innovation through organisational capability development and connections across the innovation ecosystem. For Alliance Mount, contact with organisations such as InnoLab provides another avenue for understanding emerging business models and the practical demands of commercialising new ideas.

Roche brings a Swiss perspective to the healthcare sector. Founded in Basel, the group operates across pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and healthcare solutions. Roche Pharma has been present in Vietnam for more than 30 years, working with healthcare partners to build professional capabilities and improve access to innovative treatments.

Meeting Roche’s representative added a further contact within the Swiss business community in Vietnam. Alongside the exchange with InnoLab, it gave Alliance Mount an opportunity to broaden its understanding of sectors where technology, specialist expertise and investment needs intersect.

Developing relationships for the work ahead

Alliance Mount’s participation also included meetings with representatives from Sedex and Amber, extending its contacts across the business and investment community.

For an advisory firm, a varied network is useful when it brings a wider range of experience to a client’s situation. A business seeking capital may first need to strengthen its governance or financial reporting. Another may be ready to enter a new market but require the right local partner. Understanding those differences is central to making a relevant introduction.

The meetings in Hanoi provide further points of contact through which Alliance Mount can explore business needs and potential areas of cooperation. Their value will develop through follow-up, a clearer understanding of each organisation’s priorities and opportunities where there is a practical fit.

For Alliance Mount, SVEF Hanoi 2026 was a continuation of its work between Switzerland and Vietnam. Building on its Swiss roots, the firm continues to develop the relationships and local understanding needed to help Vietnamese enterprises engage with international partners and pursue long-term growth.
